ONE HANDED OPERATION
Designed for the ease of use, the drag system allows for one hand operation when lowering or stopping the downrigger weight. It is very intuitive in operation and provides an outstanding control over the descent speeds. For the safety of the angler the crank handle does not turn while the weight descends.
VERSITILE SWIVEL BASE
The optional swivel base is very handy accessory that adds a lot of value to your downrigger system. The base rotates 360 deg and locks in 36 different positions allowing virtually any angle for your downrigger. This enables effortless re-positioning of the downrigger boom suitable for fishing, rigging or docking. Seahorse (R) Swivel base is very rigid and easy to operate. The spring loaded locking mechanism keeps the base from spinning freely.
HYDRODYNAMIC LINE RELEASE
Our Patent Pending Hydrodynamic line releases are specifically engineered to reduce resistance in the water. The hydrodynamic design minimizes the turbulence and drag allowing for natural bait / lure presentation. Lower resistance results in decreased blow-back. While these releases were designed to be used with downriggers, they can be successfully used with Outriggers, Flat Lines and Kites.
