USPTO approves SEAHORSE as a registered trademark

The idea of Seahorse branding comes from combination of two words: “Horse” – that represents the “workhorse” – the legendary and reliable Fathom-Master downrigger once manufactured by Penn and the word “Sea” that describes the environment and application.

United States Patent and Trademark Office approved our application and registered the Seahorse as a trademark for our Downrigger system.

A trademark is a corporate symbol that contributes to the image the company is trying to build. It is a mark of quality and excellence that identifies that company as the manufacturer. Like the logo, a trademark can be a combination of color, typestyle and shape.
